Ramblers

Join us each month on Saturday afternoons (or Friday evenings during the summer) for exercise and conversation!  If you don’t want the conversation, just follow on behind!

Schedule for 2018

Saturday, 3 February, 10:30am leave 67 Arthur Road, Rainham, ME8 9BU for walk to Riverside Country Park and return.  Lunch at the Cricketers.  Walk is not too strenuous but expect some mud.  Let Colin Lovell know if you are coming: 077538 817566; cdlmedway@gmail.com  .

Saturday, 7 April.

Saturday, 5 May.  Meet at Camer Country Park car park, Meopham, DA13 0XT for 10.30am start on Saturday 5th of May.  The walk through woods, fields and along country roads.  Paths could be muddy if it has rained before, walking sticks advisable.  The walk is approximately 6.5 miles long with some stiles and hills to climb.  Stop en route at a pub in Meopham for refreshments, then walk back to the car park.

Saturday, 4 August, Meet at St Pauls Church Car Park for 10:30am start on Saturday 4th of August.  Walk to Hartlip via Queen Down Warren, along paths and country roads. Paths could be muddy if it has rained before.  The walk is approximately 5.5 miles long with some stiles and hills to climb.  Stop en route at a pub for refreshments, then walk back to the car park.  Lead walker Dave, contact 01634 306853.

Saturday, 3 November.  All are welcome on the next St Paul’s Ramblers walk on Saturday 3rd November meeting at the National Trust car park at OldBury Hill (TN15 0ET) just off A25 for 10:30am start.  The walk will be around the Oldbury Hillfort through woodland tracks / paths.  The paths could be muddy in places.  The walk is approximately 3.5 miles with inclines.  For after walk refreshments, a short drive to The Crown Point.  For more information contact Dave Larkin.
